Arsenal have been told to ‘get serious’ after a big blow for Gabriel Jesus.
Today it was confirmed that the Gunners striker would miss the remainder of Brazil’s World Cup campaign.
He suffered a knee injury in the defeat by Cameroon on Friday night.
Unfortunately for Arsenal, he is likely to be injured until January, as covered by HITC Sport.
And with Eddie Nketiah his covering option in North London, Kevin Campbell claims it’s time for Mikel Arteta and Edu to sign a proper replacement.
He said on Twitter:

He didn’t come right out and say it.
But Campbell’s tweet is more or less an admission that he doesn’t trust Nketiah to replace the South American.
Nketiah, who earns £100,000 per week at Arsenal [The Sun], hasn’t scored from any of his 12 Premier League games this season.
And therefore it’s a fair assessment that Arteta and Edu should definitely look at signing a striker when the window opens again.
Going into Christmas, Arsenal will be top of the Premier League.
In other words, there’s lots to lose this season if they do wind up relying on Nketiah instead of getting someone else in.
