So, what has Gary Neville said about Jorginho? Let’s take a look.
Gary Neville praises Jorginho display for Arsenal vs Liverpool
Well, Gary Neville has been raving about Arsenal midfielder Jorginho after watching him in action against Liverpool.
The former Manchester United defender was on co-commentary duty for the match on Sky Sports.

Neville chose Jorginho as his ‘Player of the Match’ after Arsenal beat Liverpool 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday evening,
The pundit noted that the Italian midfielder was the calmest player on the pitch during the Premier League game.
When asked for his Player of the Match in the 95th minute, Neville said on Sky Sports Premier League: “Well, it is going to go to the calmest player on the pitch, and that’s Jorginho. He has been absolutely outstanding. he really has. What a performance!”
My View: Jorginho was brilliant for Arsenal vs Liverpool
In my opinion, Jorginho was one of the best players on the pitch. While Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli will get the headlines for their goalscoring heroics, the calm presence of the Italian star in the middle of the park cannot be overlooked at all.
The 32-year-old does not start regularly for Arsenal, but manager Mikel Arteta knows exactly which game to use him in.
Liverpool are a very combative and aggressive team in midfield. Jorginho helped slow the game down and made it less hectic.
It was one of the best performances of Jorginho in an Arsenal shirt. The win against Liverpool was massive for the Gunners, who are very much in the running for the Premier League title this season.
Jorginho has made five starts and nine substitute appearances in the Premier League for Chelsea so far this season, providing one assist in the process.
