Gary Neville has said on his podcast that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal will not win the Premier League title this season, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City will.
The former Manchester United star was impressed by Arsenal’s performance in their 3-2 win against Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.
However, the Sky Sports pundit believes that defending Premier League champions City will win the title ahead of Arsenal this season.
Gary Neville on Arsenal v Manchester City title race
Neville said: “I don’t think they (Arsenal) will win the league, let’s be really clear. I think Manchester City will this league by a street in the end.”

Who will win the title?
In our opinion, Manchester City are the clear favourites to win the Premier League title this season, but Arsenal’s chances of becoming champions cannot be written off just yet.
City have arguably the best squad in England, and they have one of the most lethal strikers in Erling Haaland.
Yes, Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment, but they are a very young side who are still developing and growing.
City have established and world-class players in every area on the football pitch.
If Arsenal are to win the Premier League title this season, then they have to continue to play well and win matches, like they have been doing.
The North London club simply cannot afford to go through a bad spell in the Premier League if they want to beat City to the title.
They simply cannot.
