Harry Kane is a world-class striker and has been on fire at Bayern Munich, and I am not surprised at all to see that Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United are keen on bringing the former Tottenham Hotspur star to Old Trafford in the summer transfer window.
HITC revealed in February that Manchester United want to sign a new striker and see former Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane as the ideal option.
Gary Lineker reacts to Harry Kane to Manchester United rumour
Manchester United minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, INEOS and Sir Dave Brailsford want to make Erik ten Hag’s team more competitive and think that Kane will make the team more potent.
There has been speculation in recent days that United will do everything they can to sign Kane in the summer transfer window, and, as you can see below, former Tottenham striker Gary Lineker has laughed at that rumour.
Kane scored 213 goals and gave 46 assists in 320 appearances in the Premier League.
The England international striker has scored 36 goals and provided 11 assists in 34 matches in all competitions for Bayern Munich this season. Eric Dier rates him highly.
My View: Manchester United are unlikely to be able to sign Harry Kane
In my opinion, Manchester United face a really difficult task to be able to sign Harry Kane from Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.
It would be a surprise if Bayern were going to sell arguably their best player this season after a poor campaign for the team.

Bayern are unlikely to win the Bundesliga title and may not even get to the UEFA Champions League this campaign.
I do not think that Kane himself will be keen on leaving the Allianz Arena after just a season.
After all, Bayern are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and he will know that next season he will have a better chance of winning major trophies with the Bundesliga club than with Manchester United.
The one unknown factor is a change in management, with Thomas Tuchel’s style, and the door is always open to transfers if the price is right. Let’s see how this one develops…
