Gary Lineker took to Twitter while watching Brighton’s game against Everton last night, and was particularly impressed with one player.
The BBC Match of the Day host clearly had his eye caught by Brighton’s No.8 Yves Bissouma, who delivered a fine performance against the Toffees.
Brighton’s £17 million man nearly scored an incredible bicycle kick, which looped over Robin Olsen and onto the top of the net.
Additionally, Bissouma completed two key passes and embarked on three successful dribbles, according to WhoScored.
You can see what the BBC Match of the Day host tweeted below.
After watching Bissouma’s performance, it’s no wonder Arsenal and Liverpool are believed to be keen on his services.

Football London revealed that the 14-cap Mali international is on Mikel Arteta’s wishlist, and the player himself is keen on joining the Gunners.
Elsewhere, the Sunday Mirror (13/12/20, page 73) claimed that Jürgen Klopp wants to bring the 24-year-old to Anfield.
It was also said on The Transfer Window Podcast that Klopp has personally scouted the midfielder.
In our view, Bissouma would be a huge success at either club.

He is beginning to shine in the Premier League, and has plenty of time to get even better at just 24 years of age.
Of course, he might cost a fair bit. The Express claim that Bissouma doesn’t have a release clause at the Amex Stadium, meaning Brighton can charge whatever they want.
However, he is looking more and more like a £50 million midfielder with each passing game, so don’t be surprised if someone spends big on the Malian.
