Robbie Keane has praised reported Tottenham Hotspur summer transfer target Gareth Bale on Instagram following his heroics for Wales this week.
Bale, linked with a move to Antonio Conte’s Tottenham in the summer transfer window, scored both goals for Wales in their 2-1 win against Austria at the Cardiff City Stadium on Thursday evening.
The 32-year-old Real Madrid winger’s first goal was a brilliant dipping free kick, and his second saw him find the back of the net with a fierce shot from inside the box.
Wales are now just one game away from booking their place in the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.
Former Tottenham striker Keane has publicly praised Bale, a player Spurs chairman Daniel Levy reportedly wants to sign.
In February, TuttoMercatoWeb reported that Bale has already signed a pre-contract agreement to rejoin Spurs for a third time.
The winger is out of contract at Madrid at the end of the season.

Bale showed for Wales against Austria that he remains a player who can turn on the style in big games.
If Wales qualify for the Qatar World Cup, then Bale will need a cub team, at least for the first half of next season.
It would not be a bad idea for Tottenham to hand the winger a short-term deal, maybe until the end of next season.
