Gaetano Berardi has responded to Stuart Dallas’s post on Instagram after the Leeds United star signed a new contract with the club.
What’s the story?
Leeds announced on their official website on Friday that Dallas has extended his stay at Elland Road.
The Northern Ireland international has signed a three-year deal which will see him stay at Leeds until the summer of 2024 at least.
Gaetano Berardi delighted
Berardi played with Dallas at Leeds, and the defender, who left the Whites at the end of last season, believes that the new deal is well deserved for the 30-year-old.
Dallas has been on the books of Leeds since 2015 when he moved from Brentford.
The Northern Ireland international is a winger by trade, but under head coach Marcelo Bielsa, he has played in a number of roles.

The 30-year-old has played as a wing-back, full-back and midfielder for the West Yorkshire club.
What is remarkable about Dallas is that he has done well in each and every position that he has played.
Some have compared the 30-year-old to former Leeds midfielder James Milner for his ability to play in a number of positions and do consistently well.
