Ange Postecoglou has spoken about his desire to bring a centre-forward to Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
The Spurs boss confirmed that Tottenham are on the search for a new striker after claiming it is “the area of the park we’re really probably the thinnest”.
Heung-Min Son and Richarlison both spent stints at the spearhead of Tottenham’s attack last season, but the latter has been linked with a move away from London.
HITC revealed in July that Tottenham are ready to sanction a move for Richarlison to join a Saudi Pro League side this summer.
If the Brazilian does depart this window, signing a new striker becomes even more of a priority. Thankfully, Spurs already have a shortlist of targets.

Tottenham told to sign Premier League striker
Tottenham are progressing in talks with Bournemouth over Dominic Solanke. The 26-year-old has a £65million release clause in his contract.
The Bournemouth forward scored 19 Premier League goals in 2023-24 – the most prolific season in his career so far.
Spurs are also in the hunt for Ivan Toney, with Brentford willing to let him leave this summer to avoid losing him for free next year.
Gabriel Agbonlahor gave his verdict on Tottenham’s striker search and claimed that Dominic Solanke should be their top target.
Speaking on talkSPORT, he said “I think it would be a great move. You have to look at who is available out there. What strikers can you name that are going to fit into what Spurs need.
“Ivan Toney, Solanke, the big boy strikers like [Victor] Osimhen – no offence to Spurs but he’s not going to look twice.
“So out of what’s available, I’d go and get Solanke – if you look at last seaosn, how unlucky was he not to make the England squad?

“Because, 19 Premier League goals in 38 appearances, he was on fire. He can hold the ball up well, run in behind, score any type of goal. I think he deserves that move.
“I think he’s the perfect striker for Spurs.”
