Marco Silva’s Fulham are now reportedly trying to sign Rob Holding from Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
According to 90min, Fulham are interested in signing Rob Holding from London and Premier League rivals Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that Fulham have “enquired” about the 27-year-old central defender.
Arsenal are willing to let the £40,000-a-week (Spotrac) Englishman leave in the final week of the summer transfer window.
90min has claimed there is interest in Holding from clubs in La Liga, the Bundesliga and Ligue 1 as well.
There is also speculation that Luton Town want to sign Holding from Arsenal this week.
Fulham transfer would make sense for Arsenal defender Rob Holding
In our view, Arsenal central defender Rob Holding should seriously consider a move to Fulham in the final days of the summer transfer window.
Holding is not going to get much playing time for Arsenal this season.

Ben White, William Saliba and Gabriel are ahead of Holding in the pecking order at the Gunners at the moment.
There is also Jakub Kiwior.
During his time at Arsenal, Arteta has used Holding as a squad player.
That is not going to change anytime soon.
Fulham are unlikely to be involved in the Premier League relegation battle this season.
Marco Silva’s side did extremely well in the Premier League last season, and the Cottagers will be keen on kicking on this campaign.
Holding’s experience would make Fulham better at the back.
And the defender would get to play regularly.
Holding would not have to leave London either.
The defender has made 98 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
Holding has scored two goals, given one assist, and kept 22 clean sheets in those games.
