Fulham are ‘very interested’ in bringing former Arsenal youngster Yunus Musah back to the Premier League and may be willing to pay £17 million for the Valencia and USA midfielder.
That is according to TuttoJuve; a player who spent seven years at Arsenal before heading to Spain in 2019 potentially on his way back to the English capital.
Yunus Musah looks set to leave Valencia this summer after Los Che avoided relegation by the skin of their teeth last term. Arsenal were tipped to bring the New York-born enforcer back to the Emirates before closing in on Declan Rice, while Liverpool, West Ham and Crystal Palace have all been mentioned as potential destinations.
If reports from Italy are to be believed, however, Fulham are currently at the front of the queue.

Marco Silva’s side are ‘very interested’, and will reportedly offer a ‘large sum of money’ – rumoured to be around £17 million – for a highly-versatile performer who would make Daniel Day Lewis look about as one-note as Liam Neeson.
20-year-old Musah played as an attacking midfielder, a defensive midfielder and a left-back last season. Even as a right winger, at times.

TuttoJuve add that both AC Milan and Juventus are also interested. Milan have £55 million to play with following the sale of Sandro Tonali to Newcastle United, while Juventus will reportedly hold talks today over a deal that could see fellow midfielder Denis Zakaria fill a Declan Rice-shaped hole in West Ham’s engine room.
“This is a great kid. Happy, outgoing, respectful, smiling all the time, infectious to be around, willing to learn… thoroughly likeable,” Musah’s former England U17 coach Steve Cooper told ESPN in 2020, before the midfielder committed his international allegience to the USA.
“What I especially like about him is that he’s got a really good aggression on the pitch. Yunus stands out for his (Paul) Pogba-like athleticism to power away from defenders.
“And if he receives possession in broken play in midfield, he drives away from opponents and leaves them behind. He has the technique of a real ‘football-playing’ midfielder. But the athleticism and daring to make him a guy who’ll penetrate dangerous opposition areas.
“He’s also got great self-belief.”

It remains to be seen if Fulham see Musah as a central midfielder or perhaps as a full-back. A move to Craven Cottage, meanwhile, could see Musah link up with fellow Americans Antonee Robinson and Tim Ream.
“Start talking other London clubs because that’s the real target (for Musah). Why not (Fulham)? Look at Robinson and Ream right now,” former USMNT ace Eric Wynalda tells The Action Network.
“It’s terrific. What Tim is doing is remarkable.”
