Arsenal are reportedly eyeing a move for Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic to replace Alexandre Lacazette next summer.
According to Defensa Central, Mikel Arteta is a fan of Jovic and is eager to lure the 23-year-old to north London if Lacazette departs Arsenal.
The 30-year-old striker is expected to leave the Gunners with his contract expiring next year. Eddie Nketiah is another striker who could depart Arsenal, with the attacker yet to play a minute of Premier League football.
With Jovic out in the cold at Madrid, the youngster could be a suitable option for Arsenal next summer. The striker is in need of a change, and north London can provide just that.
The attacker has been poor since signing for Madrid in 2019. Beforehand, Jovic was seen as one of Europe’s top young strikers at Eintracht Frankfurt. Yet that reputation has taken a nosedive since landing in Spain.
Jovic is yet to start a game for Madrid this season, and a move looks all but certain for the 23-year-old attacker, who still has time to rediscover his form.
Arsenal fans fume at new links to Jovic

Whilst Jovic could be a suitable replacement for Lacazette and understudy to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, some Arsenal fans are not sold on the idea of the Serbian coming into the team next summer.
