Forster, who joined Celtic on loan from Southampton in the summer transfer window, was impressed with the central defender’s performances against Steven Gerrard’s side in the Scottish Premiership game.

Forster told The Scottish Sun: “Christopher Jullien was fantastic in front of me. He’s a big guy. I think he headed everything and looked really good. I thought he was brilliant.”

Former Hibernian forward Tam McManus, who now works as a pundit for BBC Sport, was impressed with Jullien and said on Twitter that he was “imperious’, while ex-Rangers striker Kris Boyd also hailed him (click here to read more).
