Frank Leboeuf says the career of Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku is a ‘big mess’ as he compared his situation to Tottenham hitman, Harry Kane.
The World Cup winner claimed that the ‘truth’ will come out about Romelu Lukaku and ‘what he wants to do’, just like Harry Kane across London, as he told ESPN.
Starting with Kane, there are noises coming out of Germany that he wants to secure a transfer to Bayern Munich, even though those at Hotspur Way are squashing those rumours.
For Lukaku, who was loaned to Inter last season from Chelsea, there are now claims that he could be open to joining Juventus (talkSPORT), even though he previously made it clear that he would ‘never’ join the Turin-based club.
Equally, there are also suggestions that the £325k-a-week star (Spotrac) doesn’t want to return to Stamford Bridge, but once again, there are all claims and Leboeuf thinks everyone will know what is what very soon.

“I think some people are lying,” said Leboeuf on rumours about Lukaku and Juventus. “I think some people are not really saying what they feel. Maybe he only said it four times that he would never go to Juventus. Maybe he should have said it ten times for us to see the truth in his thoughts. It doesn’t make any sense.
“Lukaku’s career, it’s a big mess – I am very fond of the guy. He’s a nice person, as a football player, we all know the weaknesses of his game. What happened last season or the season before.
“He has to change and be more consistent and work harder. Now it’s harder for some clubs to bet on him because he doesn’t give any insurance to put money on him – I really wish for him to find a club.
“Maybe we will see like Kane’s story, the truth about all the negotiations and what Lukaku wants to do and who he wants to go to.”

Kane and Lukaku have big calls to make
The much-talked-about duo will be 30 by the time the new Premier League season starts, but where will they be?
If they decide to sign for another club, then it will prove to be the last major move of their careers and they have to get it right.
Equally, if they decide to stay put in the capital, then they also have to make sure they aren’t disrupting the progress of their careers because they aren’t going to improve in five years time.
