Arsenal have reportedly been joined by Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma side in the hunt for Tammy Abraham.
According to Corriere Giallorosso, the Serie A side are keen on the Chelsea attacker with Edin Dzeko set to join Inter Milan. The Premier League striker is likely to leave west London this window.
Abraham has emerged as a target for multiple Premier League and European sides this summer. Yet Arsenal appear to be the favourites for the England international.
Indeed, the striker grew up supporting the Gunners. And Mikel Arteta’s side are in the market for an attacker. Moreover, Abraham suits the profile of players Arsenal are looking for this summer.
With Chelsea looking to sell for £40m, the north London side could get a good deal for the 23-year-old striker if Arsenal can shift off the likes of Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah this window.
However, although Abraham is a proven Premier League goalscorer with Chelsea, some supporters are hoping that Mourinho beats Arsenal to the signing of the Englishman.

As well as Abraham, the Gunners have been linked with the likes of Lautaro Martinez and Dusan Vlahovic. And some supporters on social media believe that these strikers would be better options long-term for the club.
