Tottenham seem to be turning the narrative of their season around once again.
The London club have gone from being title contenders, to mid-table mediocrity, but now it seems as though they’re back in the hunt for a Champions League spot.
It’s no coincidence Spurs’ recent return to form has come at the same time as Dele Alli and Gareth Bale rediscovering what once made them PFA award winners.
However, despite the plaudits Alli, and Bale are getting, there’s another Spurs player quietly enjoying a bit of a resurgence in north London.
Indeed, Davinson Sanchez looks back to his best as of late.
The Colombian has gotten a lot of flak for his poor showings this term, with Jamie Carragher laying into him after Spurs’ defeat to Manchester City last month.

“Sanchez is all over the place. He hasn’t got a clue where he is. Puts him on his backside. Shocking defending,” Carragher said.
“He hasn’t got a clue where he is. He is weak.”
However, since those comments, Sanchez hasn’t stopped improving.
His last two performances perfectly highlight the turnaround in his form in recent weeks.
He’s averaged a WhoScored rating of 7.78 for his showings against Fulham and Burnley, while he’s made four tackles, two interceptions and a staggering 15 clearances in those two matches.
Sanchez is once again starting to look like the player Spurs paid £42m for all those years ago, and it couldn’t have come at a better time for Tottenham.
Alli and Bale are the more glamourous big name stars, so of course their return to form is going to generate more headlines, but it has to be noted that Sanchez is performing remarkably well for a player described as ‘weak’ by Carragher less than a month ago.
