‘For God sake’: Some Arsenal fans are stunned by Arteta’s comments on Arsenal 25-year-old

Arsenal fans on Twitter couldn’t believe it when Mikel Arteta was defending Hector Bellerin’s foul throws during his press conference on Wednesday.

Since the start of the season, Arsenal’s experienced right-back has been penalised for five foul throws and it clearly is becoming an issue for the player.

But with Arteta claiming that the punishment on the 25-year-old is ‘harsh’ [Read Here], it left the Arsenal fans baffled and flabbergasted by his comments.

A selection of the Arsenal fans cannot believe it has come to such a situation where they are talking about one of their players struggling to do the simple parts of the game.

Whilst others feel that Arteta needs to be much stronger and actually criticise his player for having such a problem in his game.

The simple way to solve the issue would be to take Bellerin off throw-ins, but given that he is a fullback and he will be hugging the touchline, he will most of the time be closest to take a throw.

Arsenal’s recent form and current standing in the Premier League table doesn’t help Arteta’s cause because anything he does say will be met with a frosty response.
