Arsenal have decided to use the World Cup break to make some major changes to the Emirates Stadium.
Supporters have often complained about the fading exterior of the stadium, as the graphic showing legends such as Tony Adams and Thierry Henry – as well as the club crest – are noticeably aged.
With just over a month until the next game at the Emirates Stadium – a Boxing Day clash against West Ham – the Gunners have now got down to work on revamping their home.
Arsenal begin major changes
Well, the north Londoners want a home they can be proud of as they find themselves sat atop the Premier League.
As you can see below, Arsenal have now stripped down the graphics which adorned the front of the Emirates Stadium.
However, the Daily Cannon believe replacement designs are still being finalised, and won’t be ready until January at the earliest.
It comes after Arsenal also replaced the jumbo screens inside the Emirates Stadium over the summer, while the turnstiles have been upgraded as well.
The Daily Cannon add that there have been whispers of a new sound system also coming into place, although there is no timeframe on that upgrade yet.
Arsenal proactiveness is good to see
Some fans may not be that bothered about a few upgrades to the Emirates Stadium, although it is good to see Arsenal being proactive and not letting their home be neglected.
That is not always the case at every top side in England.

As reported by the Daily Mail, Manchester United have allowed Old Trafford to decay over the years, with rats seen inside the stadium, while there has been an issue with roof leaks for a while now.
That doesn’t show the players, or the supporters, that those in the boardroom care much about the club, so it is good to see Arsenal take care of small details such as problems at the Emirates Stadium.
