The Arsenal Under-23 side were in action against their Derby counterparts at Meadow Park on Friday evening.
Balogun featured for the young Gunners.
And scored a hat-trick.
The 20-year-old striker, who has already his debut for the Arsenal first team, banged in as many as three goals.
The third goal from the youngster was particularly brilliant.
The Arsenal Under-23 side lost the game 5-3.
What are Arsenal fans saying?
As you can see from the tweets below, Arsenal fans were impressed by the display produced by Balogun.
Well, some of them anyway.
They think that the striker is too good to play for the Arsenal Under-23 side.
And we agree.
In our view, the striker needs to play competitive football now.
If Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta does not think that Balogun is ready to play for his side, then the Gunners need to find him a club in January for a loan spell.
