Turkish left-back Ferdi Kadioglu has reportedly made his feelings clear on a move to the Premier League this season.
HITC has previously reported that Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur were watching Ferdi Kadioglu with the Turkish left-back impressing during the Super Lig this season.
As well as his performances in the Turkish league, his talent was on show during Euro 2024 and Arsenal were even encouraged to sign Kadioglu ahead of Riccardo Calafiori.
Whilst Arsenal and Spurs are keen on the left-back, it is Brighton & Hove Albion who are keen on the defender and are pushing to get a deal done.

Kadioglu makes feelings clear over Brighton move
According to a post on X from Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, Kadioglu’s agents have made it clear to Fenerbache that he wants to move to the Premier League this summer.
Sabuncouglou followed that up earlier today by reporting that Kadıoğlu had accepted Brighton’s offer and was now waiting for Fenerbahce to strike a deal with the Seagulls.
Manchester United have also been credited with interest in recent days, with it claimed they’ve also made an offer, but Brighton appear to be further along at this stage.
The Seagulls are also keen on Celtic’s Matt O’Riley with HITC reporting that Brighton are continuing talks with Celtic to get a deal done for the Danish midfielder.
As for Kadioglu, the Turkish defender has been the subject of interest from across the Premier League with Wolves also previously keen on the Fenerbache left-back but it is Brighton who looks to be furthest along with a potential deal.
Kadioglu could be a brilliant signing for Brighton
New Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler has been busy in the summer transfer market with the German replacing Roberto De Zerbi as manager of the South Coast side.
Brighton have signed Feyenoord’s Mats Wieffer and the Seagulls have also added Bruga to their team from RB Salzburg.
Now, a new left-back looks to be next on the list for the South Coast side with Kadioglu on that list, despite Pervis Estupinan already at the club.
During Euro 2024, former Arsenal player Lee Dixon was full of praise for the Turkish star during the tournament in Germany.
Dixon told ITV on Kadioglu’s performance for Turkey against the Netherlands: “Looks an absolute star doesn’t he tonight? I think that wing-back role really suits him as well.”
