Fans have been weighing in on which fighters they think Dana White should add to the UFC roster.
The promotion has been the dominant force in MMA for years, with few organisations coming close to challenging its position at the top of the sport.
But while many believe that most of the world’s best compete inside the Octagon, not every top talent or big name is signed to a UFC deal.
Some fight for the Professional Fighters League, while others are spread across different promotions around the world. So which of these names would fans want to see take a shot in the UFC?

Fans have been weighing in on who they’d like to see join the UFC roster, responding to the question: “You are Dana White for the day, who’s the first fighter you sign?”
A lot of fans zeroed in on specific areas of need, with many pointing towards divisions that could use a boost.
The state of the heavyweight division drew a lot of attention. Names like Gable Steveson, Vadim Nemkov, and Rico Verhoeven were popular picks. Steveson in particular seems to be a common answer these days. After winning his third MMA fight, there was already a lot of buzz around him making the jump.
Another name that kept popping up was Dakota Ditcheva. The undefeated flyweight has had plenty of calls for her to join the women’s roster.
PFL lightweight champion Usman Nurmagomedov was also mentioned by those eager to see how he’d match up against Ilia Topuria.

Harvey Leonard: “If we’re disregarding contractual hurdles, Ditcheva for sure.”
Kyle Dimond: “Dakota Ditcheva would be incredible in the UFC. I do think that will happen eventually though.”
Donagh Corby: “Usman Nurmagomedov, Paul Hughes or Corey Anderson.”
Jamie Theodosi: “Has to be Gable Steveson. The heavyweight division NEEDS it.”
