Dana White has confirmed the UFC White House fight card will be unveiled later this week as concerns grow about what the card will look like.

With the landmark June 14 event drawing closer, no bouts have yet been officially announced for the South Lawn showcase. White has now indicated that the wait for details is nearly over.

The promotion is preparing to stage a historic event at the White House as part of the America 250 celebrations, commemorating 250 years of American independence.

White confirms announcement timeline for June 14 card

Speculation has grown around which fights will headline the unprecedented event. Attention has focused on possible championship matchups, but the UFC has not formalised any bookings.

Dana White took to his Instagram to reveal that he will be sharing the card for the UFC White House event later this week.

“I will have more information for you guys. Actually, this week, I should announce the White House fight. This week, I should be announcing it.”

The update suggests the promotion is preparing to transition from planning to confirmation. The June 14 show is expected to host approximately 5,000 spectators on the White House South Lawn, with an additional 80,000 fans anticipated at the Ellipse in Washington DC.

Topuria vs Gaethje uncertainty adds intrigue to card build

No contests have been officially confirmed despite previous indications that a lightweight championship bout could headline the card.

A matchup between Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje had been widely viewed as the likely main event.

Those plans may have shifted, leaving questions about the headline fight ahead of White’s announcement.

Several prominent fighters have publicly shown interest in competing, including Jon Jones, Conor McGregor, Alex Pereira, Amanda Nunes, Nate Diaz and Islam Makhachev.

The event is projected to cost around $60 million, and TKO Group Holdings has stated that the UFC does not expect to generate profit from the show, positioning it instead as a long-term strategic investment.
