Roy Keane has said on Sky Sports Premier League (7:26pm, October 16, 2022) that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal will not win the Premier League title ahead of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City this season.
The former Manchester United star has praised Arsenal for how they are doing at the moment.
Mikel Arteta’s side got the better of Leeds United 1-0 away from home at Elland Road in the league on Sunday afternoon.
Defending champions Manchester City went down 1-0 to Liverpool away from home at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday evening.
Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 27 points from 10 matches, four points ahead of defending champions and second-placed City.

Roy Keane on Arsenal v Manchester City Premier League title race
Keane said: “I still fancy City for the title. Arsenal have started the season well, but obviously a long way to go yet. You wouldn’t bet against Manchester City winning the title.”
Staying positive
In our view, Arsenal should stay positive about their chances of winning the Premier League title this season.
Manchester City may have lost to Liverpool on Sunday, but a defeat at Anfield is not really a matter of shame.
City still have the best squad in England and the best striker in the Premier League in Erling Haaland.
Arsenal should continue to do what they are doing right now and not get carried away.
