Speaking on the Here We Go Podcast, Fabrizio Romano has doubled down on his claim about Willian leaving Arsenal this summer.
The journalist has previously claimed that the Brazilian is expected to leave the Gunners, but now he has gone even further, stating that the winger is 100 per cent on his way out of north London.
What’s he said?
The journalist has been rather bullish with this transfer claim, stating that Willian is definitely going to leave Arsenal this summer.
“Willian. Willian is leaving the club, I want to confirm that Willian is leaving the club. There is nothing going on with other English clubs, but he’s leaving the club, so 100 per cent, Willian is going to leave.”
Won’t be missed
Romano doesn’t make claims like this unless he has it on good authority.
The journalist usually gives himself a bit of leeway in case a situation changes, but in this case he’s said that Willian is definitely leaving.
So, where will the winger go? He’s been linked with a move to Inter Miami, so that could be a potential destination, but as of yet, we don’t know for sure where he’ll end up.
Sadly, Willian probably won’t be missed by many Arsenal fans once he leaves, and his one season at Arsenal will be remembered as a disappointing one.
Willian was a fantastic servant for Chelsea, but sadly, the Gunners caught him at the wrong end of his career.
