Tottenham Hotspur are set to sign Nottingham Forest forward Brennan Johnson as he travels for a medical ahead of his transfer.
Brennan Johnson is set to swap Nottingham Forest for Tottenham Hotspur with a deal now in place.
That is according to Fabrizio Romano, who claims that Tottenham have now reached an agreement with Forest to sign Johnson.
It’s stated that the deal will be worth in excess of £40million with add-ons taking the package up to around £45million.
Romano adds that Johnson is now on his way to undergo a medical with Tottenham ‘right now’.
This has been gathering pace all day with Tottenham seemingly making a real push to bring Johnson to North London.
The Forest star is now heading for London and Tottenham should have their new attacker signed up before the deadline.

One of the key factors in Tottenham’s pursuit of Johnson is the blazing speed he provides.
Hailed for his ‘incredible pace’ by Alan Shearer, Johnson has also been hailed as ‘very rapid’ by Wales boss Rob Page.
