Cesc Fabregas has spoken highly of reported Leeds United and Liverpool target Adama Traore on BBC One (7:42pm, June 19, 2021).
The former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder was with Traore at Barcelona, and the Spanish midfielder has said that the Wolverhampton Wanderers winger has “grown up” since those days.
Fabregas has said that during training, the winger, linked with Liverpool and Leeds United in the summer transfer window, did not pass the ball.
The AS Monaco star believes that the 25-year-old Spain international winger has developed and is consistent now.
What’s been said?
Fabregas said about Traore on BBC One (7:42pm, June 19, 2021): “I played with Adama when he was only 17. I remember training with him, his physical presence.
“He loved the one-on-one situations, he loved dribbling. Sometimes we even had to tell him, ‘Hey, this is football. You pass the ball sometimes’.
“He has grown up a lot. He has found the consistency in the Premier League.”

Liverpool and Leeds United speculation
Traore has been linked with both Liverpool and Leeds.
Eurosport reported this week that Leeds are willing to pay £40 million for the winger.
90min claimed this month that Liverpool are keen on signing the Wolves winger.

Encouraging comments from Cesc Fabregas
Fabregas is one of the midfielders to have played in the Premier League.
The former Arsenal star knows a quality player when he sees one.
The Spaniard’s comments about Traore are very encouraging indeed.
The winger has developed and improved since he was at Barcelona.
Traore scores goals, creates chances, is brilliant in one-v-ones, strong, powerful, and is very quick.
Leeds and Liverpool would be better with the Wolves star in their respective squads.
