Conor Gallagher does not plan to leave Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea amid interest from David Moyes’s West Ham United, according to a report.
The Athletic has reported that West Ham United are interested in signing Conor Gallagher from London and Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that the Blues have rejected West Ham’s bid of £40 million for Gallagher, who was described as “extraordinary and outstanding” by former Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel on the club’s official website in April 2022 while he was on loan at Crystal Palace.
The 23-year-old England international does not want to leave Chelsea, with the report in The Athletic claiming that the midfielder “intends on staying” at the Bleus and “impressing new manager Mauricio Pochettino”.
Conor Gallagher should stay at Chelsea
In our opinion, Conor Gallagher should stay at Chelsea and try to get into the first team under new head coach Mauricio Pochettino.
There is speculation that Chelsea are willing to sell the midfielder for £50 million.

Now, of course, if the Blues want to sell Gallagher, then the Englishman may not have any choice in the end but to go.
But, we believe that the 23-year-old should not actively look to leave Chelsea and should stay at Stamford Bridge.
We know from Mauricio Pochettino’s time as the Tottenham Hotspur head coach that he gives chances to young and talented players.
Gallagher could well get the chance in the opening weeks of the new Premier League season.
And if he does, then the youngster simply has to take it.
Gallagher is a versatile player who can operate in central midfield, in a more advanced position or out wide.
The 23-year-old has made 99 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
Gallagher has scored 13 goals and given six assists in those games.
