- EXCLUSIVE from Graeme Bailey
The future of the former Juventus midfielder is up in the air after the Frenchman departed Turin amid Premier League interest.
HITC reported that Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool had been offered Adrien Rabiot last week as the Frenchman’s contract in Turin came to an end.
The French midfielder played an important role for France as he was one of Didier Deschamps’ most important midfielders alongside N’Golo Kante, who made a return to international football.
Rabiot signed just a one year contract extension at Juventus last summer which always suggested that a move away from the Italian giants would be on the cards. That deal has now expired, however, and multiple clubs are keen.

Rabiot holding talks with potential suitors from the Premier League
Rabiot’s people are understood to be continuing talks, the fact he has now left Juventus has been acknowledged by his English suitors – many of whom still thought he might stay.
Arsenal, Liverpool and United are amongst those who have been spoken to about a possible deal and these sides have acknowledged that Rabiot’s contract has now expired.
Rabiot’s time at Juventus has been mixed but the last two years, in particular, have been a success.
Former Juventus striker David Trezeguet labelled the French midfielder as an ‘extraordinary player’ when speaking to Football Italia.
This came off the back of a World Cup tournament in France as Les Blues reached the final before losing to Lionel Messi’s Argentina.
Ex-United defender Laurent Blanc could throw spanner in the works
Despite United, as well as Arsenal and Liverpool, holding talks with the representatives of the former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder about a move, a fourth party could be about to enter the race.
Sources have told HITC that former United defender Laurent Blanc, who is currently managing Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad, would love to be reunited with him in the Saudi Pro League and the French defender is understood to really want him.
There is also interest from Spain with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid also being spoken to about a deal but, like in England, it remains to be seen if any of these sides will make an offer.
Rabiot admitted he didn’t know what the future was for him at Juventus in an interview last month.
