Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United and Unai Emery’s Aston Villa have been linked with Adrien Rabiot, but Juventus reportedly plan to stop the midfielder from moving to St. James’ Park or to Villa Park.
Newcastle United and Aston Villa linked with Adrien Rabiot
According to 90min, Newcastle United and Aston Villa are among the clubs interested in signing Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
Manchester United and Bayern Munich are also keen on Rabiot.
The former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder is out of contract at Juventus at the end of the season.

According to 90min, Juventus are “growing increasingly confident that they will agree terms on a long-term contract with Rabiot before the January transfer window”.
The report has quoted Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri as saying that the French midfielder is “an extraordinary player”.
90min has added that Rabiot himself is happy at Juventus.
My View: Newcastle more likely than Aston Villa to get Adrien Rabiot
In my opinion, Newcastle United are more likely than Aston Villa to be able to sign Adrien Rabiot on a free transfer in the summer of 2024.
Newcastle are playing in the UEFA Champions League this season and could end up in the top four of the Premier League table once again.
Yes, Aston Villa are going places under manager Unai Emery, but I do not think that they will end up in the top four this season.
It is going to be hard for the Villans to compete with the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Newcastle United regularly for a UEFA Champions League place.
Rabiot is 28 now and has been challenging and winning major trophies throughout his career.
A move to Newcastle would be more appealing to the Frenchman than a transfer to Villa precisely for that reason.
