Adam Berry parted company with Manchester United earlier this season, and sources have told HITC that the midfielder has now decided to put pen to per on a contract with Nottingham Forest.
Former Manchester United prospect Adam Berry agrees to join Nottingham Forest
Berry rejected the offer of a new contract from United as he did not believe there was a pathway into the first team at Old Trafford.
A number of clubs held talks with Berry, with the likes of Sheffield United, Blackburn Rovers, Ipswich Town, Preston North End and Plymouth Argyle showing an interest.

However, after a week of training with Forest, which included playing against his former club United, the 18-year-old has now agreed an 18-month contract to join them.
United are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment with 44 points from 25 matches, five points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa. The Red Devils are aiming to finish in the top four.
Forest, who are interested in signing Rosenborg midfielder Sverre Nypan, are 16th in the Championship table with 24 points from 25 matches, four points above the relegation zone.
One for the future
Adam Berry is a very promising and highly-rated player who did well for the Manchester United Under-16 side before being promoted to the Under-18 team.
Berry made his Under-18 debut for United when he was just 15, showing how good heis and the potential he is.
The teenager can play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, and he is going to be a player to look out for at Nottingham Forest in the future.
It will be interesting to see when Forest decide to use Berry, who once scored a goal spectacular long-range goal from inside his own centre circle for the Under-15 side, in the first team.
