Guiseley midfielder Simon Walton has told HITC Sport that Leeds United need to sign a couple of players in the January transfer window.
The former Leeds midfielder believes that the Championship outfit need to reinforce their attack.
“I think we need a couple more attacking options,” the 29-year-old told HITC Sport. “I think definitely another option as striker is needed, maybe a pacey player who can play through the middle or wide just as another option.”
Leeds have already been linked with a number of players in the January transfer window.
According to ESPN, the West Yorkshire outfit are interested in signing Patrick Bamford and have already made enquires.
It has been reported that Chelsea are set to cut short the 23-year-old forward’s loan spell at Premier League rivals Burnley.

West London Sport have credited Garry Monk’s side with interest in Middlesbrough striker David Nugent.
Leeds are going strong in the Championship at the moment and have a genuine chance of ending the season in the playoffs. Monk’s side are currently fifth in the table with 45 points from 25 matches.
