Leeds United have been interested in West Ham United’s Ashley Fletcher for some time.
According to a report in today’s (4th December) edition of The Sun newspaper on page 51, Leeds United are ready to submit a £1.5 million bid for West Ham United’s Ashley Fletcher.
Leeds have been linked with Fletcher since last summer, and they are convinced that a deal can be done.
Garry Monk wants to add further competition for places up-front, with Chris Wood currently Leeds’ main forward.

Marcus Antonsson was brought to Elland Road to provide cover for Wood, but Monk seems to have reservations over using the Swedish forward.
And Leeds now see bringing in a striker as one of their main priorities in the coming weeks.
West Ham striker Fletcher is said to be at the top of their wishlist, with Leeds now reportedly ready to make a bid.

Fletcher only moved to West Ham from Manchester United last summer, and he has shown signs of promise in his first few appearances at the London Stadium.
Fletcher has made 14 appearances for the Hammers so far this term, and he has scored on one occasion.
