Some Arsenal fans were slightly disappointed on transfer deadline day as #EduOut began to trend, although a post from Gabriel Jesus should change the mood.
A few Arsenal supporters were seemingly upset by the signing of Jorginho in a £12m deal from Chelsea, after having the likes of Declan Rice and Moises Caicedo dangled in front of them.
Nevertheless, we believe those underwhelmed with the Italy international’s arrival will feel a lot better after seeing what Jesus uploaded onto Instagram.
What’s the story?
Well, Arsenal fans have not seen their No.9 play since December 11th after he suffered a serious knee injury at the World Cup with Brazil.
However, Jesus is now back on the pitch with his boots on, as he revealed on his official Instagram account.
You can see the image which should excite Arsenal fans below.
Of course, Eddie Nketiah has done a tremendous job to help Arsenal supporters forget about what happened to Jesus in Qatar, but there is no denying that the South American represents a substantial increase in quality, with all due respect.
Jesus causes sheer chaos to opposition defences with his dribbling skills and ability to bring the likes of Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka into play in dangerous areas.
With the 25-year-old returning just in time for the second half of the campaign, we see no reason why Arsenal cannot challenge for the Europa League as well as the Premier League, given the quality of their depth.
Jesus should not come straight back in for Arsenal
Despite what we’ve just written about Jesus representing an upgrade on Nketiah, Mikel Arteta cannot drop his No.14 for the £45m man straight away.
Nketiah has been the model professional for Arsenal, waiting patiently as the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette struggle, only to see Jesus arrive once the duo had departed.

The 23-year-old has scored four goals in his last five Premier League games to keep momentum going for Arsenal at the top of the Premier League, and it would be utterly cruel of Arteta to drop him for Jesus straight away.
It is a selection headache in every sense of the phrase for Arteta, and a decision we certainly wouldn’t like to make.
It is now up to Jesus to impress at London Colney, and wait for Nketiah to experience a dip in his performances in the hope that Arteta will reinstate him into the starting XI.
