Peterborough United owner Darragh MacAnthony has teased fans of Nottingham Forest on Twitter.

Marriott scored 33 goals in his first season at Peterborough, who have priced the 23-year-old at £6.5 million, according to the Sun.

Posh sold another prolific striker Britt Assombalonga to Nottingham Forest for £5.5 million four years ago – a player who landed the Reds a near £10 million profit upon signing for Middlesbrough last summer.
