Sadio Mane has told France Football that Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe should join Liverpool in a free transfer this summer and form an ‘exceptional’ attack at Anfield.
PSG face losing Mbappe at the end of the season with the French sensation out of contract this summer. He joined the Parc des Princes natives from Monaco in 2017 in an initial loan deal, which the Ligue 1 giants turned permanent for £166m to trigger a four-year contract.
But Les Parisiens have since failed to convince the forward to extend his terms and remain at the capital side. Mbappe has also shown no signs that he intends to pen a new deal with Real Madrid confident they can poach the 2018 World Cup winner without a fee, per Goal.
Los Blancos bet big to try and seal Mbappe’s transfer last summer, but PSG opted against accepting the lucrative sums. Per The Guardian, after failing with a £133m swoop, the La Liga powerhouse returned in late August with a £146m bid, despite his contract expiring.
Mbappe is yet to agree personal terms with Real Madrid, to offer Liverpool hope they can seal his free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain, per Sport. The electric dynamo would also listen to offers from Jurgen Klopp’s side, as a possible move to Anfield appeals to Mbappe.

Mane would love to see Mbappe ditch Paris Saint-Germain and reject Real Madrid with a transfer to Liverpool this summer. The Senegal star believes the Frenchman would take Klopp’s frontline to another level, and is confident the forward would like life at Anfield.
“I would like to play with him, of course,” Mane said. “It would be an exceptional attack. But now he is the one who has to come to Liverpool. I am sure he would like it.”
Mbappe looked set to stun Real Madrid on Wednesday when he dazzled at the Santiago Bernabeu in the Champions League. Twice he toyed with Thibaut Courtois to score two stunning goals, but only one would count, to move onto 25 in 35 games so far this term.
