Ian Darke has claimed that Tyler Adams would be an ‘excellent addition’ to Leeds United ahead of his possible transfer from RB Leipzig, as he told ESPN.
The football commentator added that he has seen Adams come through as a youngster and he is someone who is a ‘busy player’.
To no-one’s surprise, a bit of an American theme is starting to build up in Yorkshire following the arrival of Jesse Marsch.

Brenden Aaronson is already through the doors following his transfer from RB Salzburg and it seems as though his fellow countryman is on the verge of joining him.
Nonetheless, this is what Darke had to say about the incoming Adams transfer, which would be summer signing number five for the club.
“They are going to be the club that the fans in the United States are going to be looking at,” said Darke. “An American manager, Aaronson, the US international and should be in the World Cup squad.
“Tyler Adams, I have seen him since he came through. He is a lad from New York state. He’s a busy player. I think he’s an excellent addition to their squad.”

LIFE WITHOUT PHILLIPS
The new transfers coming into Leeds will have big pressure on their shoulders, not just because they will be expected to turn the club’s ship around.
But, some of them are going to be expected to fill big voids left by the now-departed, Kalvin Phillips, and Raphinha, who is expected to join him out of the door.
America has a strong crop of young stars coming through and Leeds will be hoping they have got the best of the lot on their shores.
One thing is for sure, there aren’t going to be many, other than Marsch himself, who knows their game as well as he does, so that will be of a huge benefit.
