An Aston Villa midfielder has opened up on his future in the Midlands and has admitted a move elsewhere is something he would consider.
Aston Villa have two wins and a loss from their opening three games as Unai Emery’s side embark on a Premier League campaign that will include UEFA Champions League football for the first time in the division’s era.
Emery’s Villa were busy in the summer transfer window with the Villains signing Amadou Onana from Everton and the Belgian has been superb for the Midlands club.
Whilst Onana has been brilliant, Villa midfielder Youri Tielemans has also been impressive and played every minute for the Midlands club.

Youri Tielemans has say on Aston Villa future
Leander Dendoncker departed Villa over the weekend to move back to Belgian club Anderlecht and midfielder Youri Tielemans, who also played for the Belgian side, has had his say about a potential return to the club.
Aston Villa’s Tielemans is pleased with Dendoncker’s decision to return to the Jupiler Pro League club, and his comments are relayed by Het Laatste Nieuws.
“Leander has made that decision. He wants to play. He knows the structure at Anderlecht and has many playing opportunities, which is ideal. And he has stability for his family,” he said.
The 27-year-old has insisted he has an opportunity to follow Dendoncker’s footsteps and return to his former club.
“For me, the door to Anderlecht is always open, but I also have to look at my career. Other things first,” Tielemans explained.
Villa signed Tielemans from Leicester City on a free contract and the signing of the Belgian has proven to be a masterstroke from those in charge of the Midlands club.
Aston Villa need Youri Tielemans
The options that Villa have in midfield will certainly match up against most midfields in the Premier League but Europe is a different story.
With Tielemans, John McGinn, Jacob Ramsey and Onana, Villa will be able to be competitive in Europe but against Juventus and Bayern Munich, it may well be a different story.
Against Juventus, it will certainly be an interesting matchup with former Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz returning to Villa Park. With Tielemans playing as well as he is, it is vital the Midlands club hold onto the Belgian.
Ian Wright once labelled the Belgian midfielder as ‘excellent‘ and Villa must hold onto him and utilise him in the Champions League.
