A new UFC fight has reportedly been scheduled for March.
Fans may not be fully behind the UFC 324 main event between Justin Gaethje and Paddy Pimblett, but there’s no doubt people are still looking forward to the card.
January 24 will mark the promotion’s first event of the year after a six-week break that already feels even longer than it actually is.
The line-up could have looked even stronger if talks with combat sports’ top free agent had panned out as hoped.
Plus, one of the fights on the card went through some changes shortly after being revealed, which has not helped things either.
Alexa Grasso and Maycee Barber scheduled for rematch in UFC Seattle main event

Natalia Silva stepped in to replace Alexa Grasso against Rose Namajunas at UFC 324, filling a key spot on the Las Vegas card.
There is even some talk that Silva vs. Namajunas might be a more interesting fight than the original match-up between two former champions.
Grasso is coming off a loss to Silva, but the injury that forced her out is not expected to keep her sidelined for too long.
Maycee Barber’s last outing was not without controversy, but she did extend her winning streak to seven after battling through significant health issues.
Barber’s most recent loss was to Grasso back in February 2021 at the UFC Apex, and multiple sources – including an initial post from RealKevinK – now report that they will run it back.
This is the first reported bout for the promotion’s return to the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington on March 28.
Maycee Barber gets her rematch wish
Right now, Barber’s next move looks clear: a rematch with Grasso makes perfect sense. It is not just about settling the score either – a win over a former champion would make a strong case for a title shot.
And it is not as if she has not been open about what she wants next. Speaking to MMA Fighting, Barber was direct about her intentions.
“Ideally, I’m trying to get a quick turnaround. Whoever’s available if Alexa [Grasso is] injured. We’ll see. If they want to give me a title shot, sure. We’ll see who’s available because everyone’s got booked,” she stated.
