Some Arsenal fans on social media are getting very excited after it was reported that they’re getting ever more confident of signing James Maddison this summer.
Indeed, journalist Pete O’Rourke has claimed that the Gunners are getting encouraging signs from Maddison and Leicester City that this is a deal that could be struck, and as you can imagine, Arsenal fans are excited by this prospect.
Some fans got very carried away by this report, going as far as to claim that a deal is imminent, while others were buzzing over the fact they may be able to convince a player of Maddison’s calibre to join.
The attacking midfielder is certainly a talented player. After all, he’s an England international and he’s been starring for Leicester for a number of years now, with the Foxes establishing themselves as a real force in English football under Brendan Rodgers.
