Jamie Carragher has taken to Twitter to question Ezri Konsa, after watching Aston Villa lose 1-0 to Manchester United in the FA Cup last night.
What’s the story?
Well, Carragher posted a tweet shortly after Scott McTominay gave Manchester United the lead, in which he took aim at Konsa.
The Sky Sports pundit admitted that he feels the £12m man blames his teammates too often when a goal is conceded.

Konsa was seen shouting at someone after McTominay scored, which is perhaps why Carragher posted his tweet when he did.
However, it is unfair of Carragher to insinuate that the Aston Villa No.4 is deflecting responsibility, as he is rarely to blame.
In truth, if we were to point the finger at anyone, it would be Tyrone Mings.
Even the Birmingham Mail believe mistakes are a “common occurrence” for the £25m man.
Others, such as Paul Merson, believe Konsa is just as good as Mings – if not better – despite the fact he is yet to be called up for England, whereas the ex-Bournemouth man has 16 caps.

In our view, Konsa is far better than Mings, and it seems as if some top clubs are starting to understand that.
Back in the summer of 2021, Liverpool and Tottenham were interested in signing the ex-Brentford defender, according to The Athletic.
The Athletic also revealed that Gareth Southgate is keeping tabs on the 24-year-old, who has excelled in the Premier League.
Evidently, Konsa is a fine defender, who is still yet to win over some people in the English media, such as Carragher.
In our view, the Sky Sports pundit needs to keep a closer eye on who is actually to blame for most of Aston Villa’s mistakes.
