Frank Lampard’s Everton are interested in signing Steven Bergwijn from Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, according to The Daily Mail.
The report has claimed that Everton and Ajax are keen on securing the services of the £73,000-a-week (SalarySport) Netherlands international winger.
Bergwijn has publicly said that he wants to leave Tottenham for more playing time, although The Athletic reported last month that Spurs head coach Antonio Conte really likes him.
The Athletic added that Conte has accepted that the 24-year-old winger will leave Tottenham this summer.
Steven Bergwijn from Tottenham Hotspur to Everton makes sense
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur winger Steven Bergwijn would be a good signing for Everton in the summer transfer window.
We know that Bergwijn is a very good winger who can score important goals.

The Dutchman is also able to play as a forward.
Everton will be determined to push on under manager Frank Lampard next season, and Bergwijn could go straight into the starting lineup.
The Toffees narrowly avoided relegation from the Premier League, and it showed that the Merseyside club could do with better players.
Bergwijn has scored seven goals and created two big chances in 60 Premier League appearances so far in his career.
