Fabrizio Romano has told GiveMeSport that Frank Lampard’s Everton are pushing to sign Arnaut Danjuma, a player Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur and Steve Cooper’s Nottingham Forest also want to sign.
Everton pushing to sign Tottenham target Arnaut Danjuma
The Italian journalist has reported that Nottingham Forest are exploring a move for Villarreal forward Danjuma this month.
Romano has added that Everton are pushing to get a deal done for the former Bournemouth forward.
The Daily Mail have reported that Tottenham and Aston Villa also want to sign the 25-year-old Netherlands international forward.
Villarreal have reportedly made the player available on loan in the January transfer window.
The La Liga club paid £22 million in transfer fees for the Dutchman to Bournemouth in 2021 (The Daily Mail).
Romano said: “For Danjuma, there are many clubs interested. I’m told Everton are one of them. It’s true that Everton are pushing, but Nottingham Forest are also among clubs exploring this move.”

Could a January transfer happen?
In our view, Everton could be able to sign Arnaut Danjuma ahead of Tottenham Hotspur on a loan deal in the January transfer window.
It would actually suit the forward, described as “absolutely exceptional” by former Liverpool striker Michael Owen on BT Sport in 2021.
The Dutchman would go straight into the Everton lineup, and if the Toffees do get relegated to the Championship at the end of the season, then he could just go back to Villarreal.
Tottenham are well stocked in attack, and Danjuma could really struggle to play week in and week out for the North London club.
