Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur have joined Unai Emery’s Aston Villa and Frank Lampard’s Everton in the race for Villarreal forward Arnaut Danjuma in the January transfer window, according to The Daily Mail.
Tottenham competing with Aston Villa for Arnaut Danjuma
The report has claimed that Bournemouth, Aston Villa, Tottenham and Everton all are interested in signing Danjuma.
The 25-year-old forward is reportedly available on a loan deal.
The report has added that Danjuma cost Villarreal £22 million in transfer fees when they signed him from Bournemouth in 2021.
Now, we have covered Everton and Villa’s interest in Danjuma before.
Do Spurs need Arnaut Danjuma?
Tottenham were linked with the forward in the summer of 2022, and it seems that they have reignited their interest in the Netherlands international again.

Now, while Danjuma has been very good for Villarreal as a centre-forward and can operate out wide as well, we are not sure why Tottenham would want to bring him to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium now.
Spurs do have a very good attacking unit, and we do not think that they need to another personnel in that area in the middle of the season.
Danjuma has made six starts and four substitute appearances in La Liga for Villarreal so far this season.
The forward has scored two goals in those games.
The Dutchman has also scored two goals in five UEFA Europa Conference League matches for the Yellow Submarine so far this season.
