Dan Friedkin is reportedly ready to provide David Moyes with financial backing in the transfer market, should the right opportunities come up.

Everton CEO Angus Kinnear has made it clear that the club are not looking for short-term solutions and are instead focused on bringing in players who can contribute over the long haul.

A winger appears to be a priority for Moyes, and Napoli’s Noa Lang has recently been linked with a move to Goodison Park.

Moyes is also said to be interested in Arsenal’s young talent Ethan Nwaneri, while another winger has now emerged as a potential target.

TEAMtalk reports that Everton are hoping to persuade Fulham winger Harry Wilson to make a return to Merseyside before the window closes.

Wilson, who came through Liverpool’s youth system, made a couple of senior appearances before joining Fulham permanently in 2021.

The 28-year-old has been one of Fulham’s top performers this season, contributing 13 goal involvements for the Cottagers.

Everton are reportedly trying to get ahead of Leeds United, Sunderland and Nottingham Forest in the race for his signature.

The Wales international is said to be interested in a move back up North, so this deal looks like one worth watching.

Harry Wilson’s future up in the air as Marco Silva weighs in

Fulham boss Marco Silva recently spoke about Wilson’s future, admitting he is not sure whether the winger will remain at Craven Cottage past this window.

Silva said: “I don’t know if I am going to have him (Wilson) in one week, 15 days, three months or at the end of the season, with good or bad news. I cannot guarantee anything.

“What I do know is that he is playing the best football of his career. He is in the best moment of his career and there is no doubt about it.

“We are talking about a very humble player that will not take his foot off the gas and Fulham fans should enjoy the brilliant moment of him.”

A move for Wilson might not bode well for Tyler Dibling either, who has slipped even further down the pecking order in recent weeks.
