Jamie O’Hara says Everton need to bring Sean Dyche into the club to replace Frank Lampard after their 2-0 defeat to fellow relegation strugglers West Ham United on Saturday, as he told talkSPORT.
During Lampard’s playing days, he wouldn’t have had many sleepless nights because he could get the job done with ease, but now that he is in the dugout, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he was wide awake last night.
Everton were sitting in the Premier League’s relegation zone before their trip to the London Stadium and they are only one off the bottom because of Southampton’s -18 goal difference.

The time is ticking for Lampard and it wouldn’t be a huge surprise if, 12 months after Rafa Benitez’s sacking, he’s also out of the door this month.
The owner isn’t going anywhere, those on the board are being stubborn and they are only thinking about themselves, and you can’t sack the players.
Therefore, if Lampard does get the axe, then former Premier League midfielder O’Hara has backed the out-of-work Sean Dyche to get the job because he plays ‘winning football’.
“Sean Dyche,” responded O’Hara. “Of course, you bring in Sean Dyche. He gives you an unbelievable chance of staying in the Premier League right now. All they need to do is stay up.
“There has been talk that Sean Dyche is the answer for Everton and Lampard is really struggling now. It looks like he could be on his way out after another defeat.
“He plays winning football, doesn’t he?! When you are down the bottom. He knows how to get results and keep a team in the Premier League.”

IT’S LOOKING BLEAK FOR EVERTON
The only saving grace for Everton from here on in is that a new face could come into the dugout and lift a morale-sapped team.
Lampard did that last season, but at some point, your luck is going to run out.
If Everton are going to sack Lampard, then they have to do it here and now, rather than waiting until the January transfer window slams shut.
Dyche might not be the big or fancy name, but one thing is for sure, from a defensive aspect, he will make the Toffees ugly to play against and ensure they do the absolute basics right
