Otavio has a release clause of €60 million (£51.24 million), and Porto have told Everton that they will not settle for anything less, according to the report.

According to A Bola in March, Liverpool are interested in signing the Portugal international this summer.

It was A Bola who reported back in June that Liverpool had made an offer of €23 million (£19.54m) for Otavio and were willing to include midfielder Marko Grujic in the deal.

We covered the report here on HITC Sport at the time.

Grujic joined Porto on a permanent contract eventually, but Otavio did not switch to Liverpool and stayed at the Portuguese club.
