Everton let Mohamed-Ali Cho leave the club – and he could now make a fairly swift return to the Premier League after shining with Angers.

Cho, 17, was in the Paris Saint-Germain ranks before being plucked by Everton back in 2015.

Despite impressing in the Everton ranks, Cho was allowed to leave the club in 2020 as he made a return to France.

Angers are now reaping the rewards, with the speedy attacker causing mayhem for Ligue 1 defences this season.

Everton may already regret losing Cho, and they may feel even worse if the teenager moves a move in 2022.

Homme du Match claim that Brentford have made Cho one of their top priorities for the January transfer window.

Brentford would be willing to offer €10million (£8.5million) for Cho in the hope of luring him back to England.

Brentford have explored the French market for players like Bryan Mbeumo, Neal Maupay, Said Benrahma and Yoane Wissa.

Going for Cho certainly makes sense for Brentford given their transfer policy, and a multi-million pound deal would surely leave Everton gutted.
