Mohamed-Ali Cho has had quite the career so far even at the age of just 17, and the former Everton man dazzled for Angers on Sunday.

Cho was born in France but moved to England just a week after being born, and started his footballing career with West Ham United.

The attacker headed back to France with Chantilly and then Paris Saint-Germain, only to return to England with Everton between 2015 and 2020.

Last year, Cho again moved back to France, signing for Angers in search of first-team opportunities that may not come with Everton.

On Sunday, Cho started for Angers in their 3-0 thrashing of Lyon – and he turned in a superb display.

Cho was a threat throughout with blistering pace, and his constant pressure on the Lyon back line even resulted in Marcelo scoring an own goal with Cho on his back.

Maxwell Cornet was then sent off for hacking down Cho as he continued to be an absolute menace, and Everton may have some regrets over allowing him to go.

Fans have been taking to Twitter to suggest just that, believing that Everton will regret losing Cho and it’s a shame they lost him.

Others think that Cho is ‘going to the top’ and is an ‘immense talent’, with fans from all over hailing the teenager’s display.
