Sky Sports News have claimed that Frank Lampard is expected to be sacked as Everton boss on Monday, after his side lost 2-0 to David Moyes’ West Ham United side on Saturday.
Sitting as low as 19th in the Premier League table, it has gone from bad to worse for the Chelsea legend at Goodison Park this season.
In the 2021/2022 campaign, there seemed to be hope in the blue half of Merseyside after the club survived the drop to the Championship.
Fast forward to the start of 2023 and the news is that Frank Lampard is set to be sacked from his post as Everton manager, after his side’s loss to West Ham.
After an encouraging start to the season where Lampard had managed to make his side one of the best defensive teams in the league, things have gone downhill and badly.
However, in a game between West Ham and Everton where it seemed as if either David Moyes or Frank Lampard could get sacked, it seemed as if a Jarrod Bowen brace decided the latter’s farte.
Frank Lampard to get sacked by Everton after West Ham defeat

In a video by Sky Sports News (via Football Daily), it was stated that Frank Lampard looks likely to get sacked by Everton on Monday.
“I’m hearing that effectively, a decision has been taken and the expectation is that at some point today [Monday], it will be announced that Frank Lampard will be leaving his post as Everton manager”, said the reporter.
Ultimately, parting ways seems to be the best decision moving forward for all parties involved.
As it now seems inevitable that Frank Lampard could get sacked by Everton after his side’s limp defeat against West Ham, his mission should be to hone his craft further and take on roles that suit exactly where he is in terms of his managerial prowess.
