Everton are looking into several transfer options this January.
David Moyes has made it clear that he wants to strengthen three key areas of the squad, and the Toffees are already moving on a few fronts.
One name linked recently is Mateus Mane from Wolves, who could be a good fit for what Moyes is looking for up front.
Full-back is another area of focus, with Ben White’s name popping up in connection with Everton.
There is also talk about a centre-back signing, with one target drawing comparisons to Yerry Mina because of his style and presence on the pitch.
Everton’s Tiago Gabriel move highlights similarities to Yerry Mina

Everton appear to be prioritising a central defender this window, with several names already linked in recent weeks.
Reports suggested Moyes had an interest in Nobel Mendy, the left-footed Rayo Vallecano defender currently on loan from Real Betis.
Beyond that, according to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, the club have also inquired Lecce over a deal for Tiago Gabriel, who is drawing comparisons to former Blue Yerry Mina.
Gabriel’s profile stands out for his physical presence. According to FBref data, the 6ft 4in centre-back shares similar attributes to Mina, especially in aerial duels.
The Portuguese defender ranks in the top three per cent across Europe for aerial duels won per 90 minutes and is also within the top four per cent for non-penalty goals scored per game.
Tiago Gabriel’s name has come up in connection with Barcelona
Everton look to have their work cut out if they are serious about landing Gabriel this winter.
The 2004-born defender has already been mentioned in reports linking him with Barcelona, and Bayern Munich are another club reportedly showing interest.
Closer to home, West Ham and Brentford are both said to be tracking the Portuguese under-21 international as well.
That means Everton would likely need to offer him regular minutes if they want to stand a chance, or he will just look elsewhere.
Moyes has not shown much faith in youth this season either. Tyler Dibling and Adam Aznou have spent most of their time on the bench rather than on the pitch. That could become an issue when it comes to any discussions with Gabriel.
