Everton are now ready to challenge Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Juventus winger Samuel Iling-Junior during the January transfer window.
Tottenham Hotspur want Juventus talent Samuel Iling-Junior but now face a battle with Everton for his signature.
That is according to a report from TEAMtalk, who claim that Everton are now joining the race for Iling-Junior.
Reports from The Independent earlier this week suggested that Tottenham are interested in landing Iling-Junior.
The ex-Chelsea talent is seen as a versatile player who can provide depth out wide and in central midfield for Ange Postecoglou.
Tottenham may hope that a strong link with Juventus can help win the race, but more Premier League clubs are getting involved.
Tottenham Hotspur face Everton battle for Samuel Iling-Junior
TEAMtalk now claim that Everton, Fulham and Aston Villa are all interested in signing Iling-Junior.
It’s stated that Iling-Junior’s contract expires in 2025 and sources around Juventus don’t expect a new deal to be signed.
Juve are therefore interested in selling in January, seemingly looking to offload him before his value diminishes.
Everton, Fulham, Villa and Tottenham are all thought to be planning offers for Iling-Junior with an England return on the cards.
The 20-year-old left the Chelsea ranks for a move to Italy back in 2020 but has only played 22 first-team games for Juve.

Iling-Junior is a boyhood Arsenal fan
Born in London, Iling-Junior may now fancy a crack at Premier League action – but he could have mixed feelings about a move to Spurs.
Iling-Junior told The Athletic earlier this year that he and former Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny are supporting the Gunners together in Italy.
The youngster hails from Islington, so him being an Arsenal supporter isn’t a huge surprise.
Arsenal fans have played for Tottenham before, but it may not appeal to everybody and Iling-Junior may consider whether he wants to play for Spurs.
That could give Everton, Fulham and Villa some hope, potentially dangling more first-team action than Totteham can currently offer too.
